I haven't found a way to destroy him or despawn him, even by going back to the previous area and coming back he's still in that spot. Mods added with this update: RocketMan Alt Weapons 1. I've not been able to replicate the bug either. Unfortunately I've saved past that point and also overwritten the auto save.
